5 Minute Morning Bible Devotional - A Faith Filled Day with Yahuah God

Opening Prayer: Heavenly Father, we come to you in the mighty name of Yeshua Jesus. Heavenly Father, we come before You with open hearts, ready to hear from You. Thank You for waking us up today and giving us this time to connect with You. Lead us by Your Spirit, teach us through Your Word, and help us to follow Your guidance in all that we do. Thank you for making today’s scripture come alive and may we have clear understanding of it. We ask these things in Yeshua’s Jesus’ name, Amen.

Today’s scripture: Our scripture for today is Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV): “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.”

Now spend a few moments reflecting upon this verse.

The book of proverbs is a collection of sayings from the ancient Israel times, used to teach Yahuah’s God’s people how to live right. And Proverbs 3:5-6 remind us of the importance, of trust. Trusting Yahuah God means surrendering our plans, and our need for control. It’s an invitation to walk in faith, even when the path ahead isn’t clear. God’s promise is that when we submit our ways to Him, He will guide us. His wisdom surpasses our own, and His plans for us are good. Better than anything that we can do on our own.

Take a moment to think about an area of your life where you’ve been leaning on your own understanding. Maybe it’s a decision you’re struggling with like whether you should move or not or perhaps its a challenge you’re facing like whether to stay in a relationship. Surrender it all to God right now, and trust that He will lead you. In this moment, picture yourself handing over all your uncertainties, questions and concerns to Yahuah. And wait patiently for Him to respond.

Devotional Thought: Walking in God’s guidance doesn’t mean life will always be easy, but it does mean we are never alone. Trust grows through prayer, reading His Word, and stepping out in faith. Each time you rely on Him, you’ll see His faithfulness, and your confidence in Him will deepen.

Today, as you go about with your activities, remind yourself to pause and pray before making decisions. Invite God into your thoughts and actions. Trust that His guidance will lead you to the right path, even if it looks different from what you expected.

Closing Prayer: Abba Father, thank You for the guidance You give us through the Holy Spirit. Abba Father thank You for reminding us that Your guidance is perfect, and Your plans are good. Help us to trust You with all our hearts, to surrender our own understanding, and to submit every decision to You. Guide us today, and fill us with peace knowing that You are leading the way. Thank You for walking with us through every step. We pray in Yeshua’s Jesus’ name, Amen.
